2019 Ascend Executive Scholarship to Asian American Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business

Scholarship Description

Ascend is the largest non-profit Pan-Asian organization for business professionals in North America. Established in 2005, Ascend has grown to serve professionals and corporations across various professions and across multiple industries. Ascend serves as the premier professional organization dedicated to enabling its members, corporate partners and the professional Pan-Asian community to leverage the leadership and global business potential of Pan-Asian professionals worldwide.

In collaboration with the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Ascend created the Asian American Executive Program to accelerate the development of global business leadership skills for executives at US and Canadian companies. As a first of its kind executive program for high-achieving Pan-Asian leaders, the program strives to address the disparity between the number of Pan-Asians in the corporate workforce and those in executive positions.

In 2019 the Ascend Asian American Executive Program Scholarship was established with the dual purpose of making the Asian American Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business more accessible to the community and to encourage more involvement of the executives in both the Ascend Community and the Community at their respective organizations.

As part of Ascend’s commitment to helping develop and advance professional Asian American leaders and assist the Pan-Asian community, the Ascend Foundation can award up to six scholarships annually. The scholarship award will cover 50% of the program fees. Program fees includes tuition, private accommodations, all meals and course materials.
