Beginning his career in Australia as a consultant, Kevin took proactive steps to initiate a transfer of his role, office and country to be part of the Advanced Analytics solution in Chicago. As time progressed, Kevin grew into a leader at Protiviti, applying his knowledge in data, models and AI to client challenges.
Brandon "Jimmy" Chong, CPA, is a Senior Accountant at Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group specializing in Entertainment Business Management for high-profile talent. His career spans M&A consulting at KPMG, business management for touring music clients at NKSFB, and audit at Withum. With experience across consulting, audit, and client advisory, Jimmy brings a multidisciplinary perspective to helping clients navigate complex financial decisions.
Mallory Wang is a brand marketing leader known for building global brands through data-driven storytelling and cultural insight. She currently leads brand marketing efforts that connect creators, technology, and audiences at global scale with a large tech company. Previously, she served as VP of Brand Marketing at The Walt Disney Company, where she helped shape enterprise brand strategy and led major campaigns across Disney’s portfolio. During her time at Disney, she also led the company’s Asian American and Pacific Islander employee resource group, helping foster community, representation, and leadership development across the organization. She’s also worked at Westbrook (Will Smith's agency) and BuzzFeed, helping scale digital marketing and audience growth during the rise of social media platforms. She is passionate about the intersection of culture, creativity, and insights, and how emerging platforms and AI technology are reshaping the future of storytelling and entertainment.

Joanna Kim is a Management Consultant at Accenture, where she has worked since 2022 with a focus on the Data and AI space. She serves as the Cultural and Social Committee Lead for Accenture’s Los Angeles APAERG and brings that same community-building passion to her involvement with Ascend.
