Ascend Atlanta is proud to once again participate in the Atlanta Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival, one of Georgia's premier multicultural celebrations. Held at the Lake Lanier Olympic Venue, the festival brings together more than 70 teams and thousands of participants and spectators for an exciting day of dragon boat racing, cultural performances, international cuisine, and family-friendly activities.

Having participated in the festival for several years, Atlanta Ascend looks forward to continuing this tradition of teamwork, community engagement, and cultural appreciation. Dragon boat racing, with a history spanning more than 2,000 years, embodies the values of collaboration, perseverance, and unity—principles that resonate deeply with our organization.

If you’re unable to make it to practice, we’d still love you to join us on September 12! We’ll go over everything that day as well. Manesh will have waivers for all participants to sign.
