A high-touch advancement experience for tomorrow’s board members.

Positioned alongside Ascend’s broader board readiness offerings, this new program is targeted at senior executives that are looking to pursue public and private corporate board service within the next 4 years but are currently restricted from joining corporate boards due to their employer’s policy. 

Led by Co-Deans Susan Angele and Emily Rollins, Ascend Pinnacle corporate board directors, governance experts, and industry leaders, the program delivers practical insight, candid dialogue, and direct access to those shaping today’s boardrooms.

The Details

July 20-22, 2026
Bellagio Hotel | Las Vegas, NV

This year-round program will include one in-person session scheduled for July 20-22, 2026, and multiple virtual gatherings over the following 12 months including peer mentoring, webinars etc. 

Cost & Qualifications

Participants will be selected through a curated nomination-based process to ensure a high-caliber cohort. If selected, the program tuition is $5,000 which includes full admission to Ascend Engage and a one-year, complimentary Ascend Executive Network membership.

This program is designed for senior leaders who meet some of the following criteria: 

  • Senior partners/leaders that bring deep functional or advisory expertise from complex organizations including but not limited to professional services, investment management, and similar environments.

  • Recently retired partners or senior leaders seeking to extend their impact .

  • Executives that:

    • Operate in environments where corporate board service may be currently restricted or require a more deliberate and strategic approach to prepare for board service.

    • Aspire to serve on corporate boards in the next 4 years and are starting to prepare for board service.

  • While not limited to those with company restrictions, the program focus will be on board advancement topics relevant to this group.
