June 2019 Edition
Dear Ascend Members and Supporters,

First off, we're excited to announce the expanded focus on our Ascend Executive Network (AEN). The vision of the Ascend Executive Network is to connect, inspire, and prepare Pan-Asian executives for executive leadership and board positions while advocating for the Pan-Asian community. The first Ascend Executive Network Symposium will be held on August 26th at the Ascend National Convention. Read more about AEN here.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to the new LA Metro chapter President Glen Hamakawa, a partner at EY in the Southern California region. At EY, Glen provided Executive Sponsorship and Mentorship to the company's internal Pan Asian Professional Network and joins the LA Metro Chapter after serving as Chairman of the Board for the Japan America Society of Southern California. Welcome Glen!

For Pan-Asian executives who want to skyrocket their career, the Asian American Executive Program at Stanford University is only two months away – apply for the program and the Ascend Executive Scholarship today or refer a colleague (see details below).

Finally, we look forward to seeing you at the 2019 National Convention & Career Fair in Washington, D.C. on August 24-26, 2019.
