The 6th annual Ascend Midwest Student Leadership Conference on April 4th 2014, is a one day event hosted by student chapters in the Midwest region. The purpose of this conference is to help Pan-Asian students to become future business leaders. The theme of this year is “The Making of Success”. We would like students to have a glimpse of their future paths by hearing and learning the experiences from the professionals.

Student leadership Conference (SLC) The 6th annual
Ascend Midwest Student Leadership Conference is a one day event hosted by
student chapters in the Midwest. The theme is "The Making of Success” with a
purpose to help Pan-Asian students become future business leaders. By
participating in a panel discussion, breakout sessions, a case competition, or
a mock interview, students will have a glimpse of their future career paths by
learning the experiences from professionals.
Panel Discussion The panel
discussion section provides an opportunity for professionals and attendees to
discuss different career paths and the definitions of success.
Breakout Sessions Breakout
sessions serve the purpose to bring insights on some important skill sets
students should master in order to succeed in the future career.
Afternoon Activities Other afternoon activities are interactive games which
provide a networking opportunity for students and professionals in a fun and
relaxing atmosphere.
Mock Interview Mock interview
sharpens students’ interview skills by having professionals give constructive
feedback and interview tips at the end of the session.
Case Competition Equipped with
analytical and presentation skills, selected participants compete in a case
competition within an allocated timeframe for the best solution to a real-world
business problem.
