John Maxwell once said that a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. In today’s competitive world, leadership is the key to the success of any organization. Some of the organizations around the world have distinguished themselves from their competitors for the reason that they were led by successful leaders. So the moot question is what it takes to be a leader? What are the traits and attributes associated with the successful leaders? This panel discussion is on importance of leadership in the corporate world and what it takes to be a successful corporate leader.

Leonard Shen
Vice President - Chief Compliance Officer, PayPal Inc.
Leonard serves as the global chief compliance officer at PayPal, the leading payments company with over 120 million consumer and business users. Leading a team of approximately 100 FTE, he is responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws in the 190 countries where PayPal operates.
Before joining PayPal, Leonard was Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer at American Express, where he led a global team of 300 supporting 85,000 employees. Prior to his work at American Express, Leonard spent 12 years at General Electric, including four years as Chief Compliance Officer for its Commercial Finance division, a Fortune 20 company in its own right with 25,000 employees and over $4 Billion annual net income.
Among other positions he has held in his career, Leonard has worked for the U.S. Senate, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Justice and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Leonard graduated magna cum laude with a degree in history and literature from Harvard College, and received a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as an editor for the Harvard Law Review. He is admitted to practice law in California, Massachusetts, and Washington, D.C.
Leonard was recognized as one of the top corporate compliance officers in the United States by Forbes Ethisphere magazine in both 2009 and 2010.

Christina Min
Vice President, Finance
Controller, Technology and Manufacturing Group
Intel Corporation

Christina is vice president of Finance and is the senior controller to the Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, she is the controller for the Technology and Manufacturing Group at Intel Corporation. She oversees the financial management and controls for the company's technology development, manufacturing and capital investments. Furthermore, she provides financial support for the Information Technology and Human Resources Groups.
Previously, she served as Sales and Marketing Controller responsible for Intel revenue, marketing budget, microprocessor pricing, and profit and loss statement. Additional assignments include: Mobile and Graphics Product Divisions, Corporate Finance, and Audit.
She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia, and her master's degree in business administration from Simmons College. Min is an active champion of Diversity initiatives sponsoring the Asian Leadership Council, member of Intel’s Network of Executive Women, a founding member of the Corporate Executive Initiative of Ascend, and speaker/mentor to various organizations.

Raman Chitkara
Global Technology Industry Leader
Raman is a partner in Silicon Valley office of PwC. He has held a variety of prominent leadership roles at PwC. He was admitted to partnership in 1994 and was later appointed as the US semiconductor leader in 1997 before earning the position of global semiconductor leader in 2000 and global technology leader in 2008. Raman has served on a number of top tier multi-national technology accounts.
Raman brings to his clients a broad and deep insight into the natural cycles found in the technology markets around the world as well as time-tested experience and knowledge of how to adjust strategy and change course in response to market peaks and valleys.
Raman has authored several white papers on issues impacting the semiconductor industry, including the in-depth annual report, China's impact on the semiconductor industry, now in its sixth year. He is a frequent speaker on topics relating to corporate governance, unified global accounting standards, fair value accounting, employee stock compensation, business combinations and major tech industry developments at Stanford Law School Directors' College, The SEC Institute, and the Practising Law Institute in addition to numerous other industry conferences, round-tables and forums.

Simran Kaushal
International Tax Partner
Simran has over 16 years of experience and expertise in all aspects of international tax planning, including structuring of overseas operations, planning to minimize foreign taxes, cross-border asset transfers and reorganizations, joint ventures, international acquisition structuring and integration as well as repatriation planning.
Simran's specific focus is Integrated Global Structuring Projects that achieve significant cash tax savings and worldwide structural tax rate reductions. She offers expertise with the migration of intangible property rights in conjunction with global expansion, including design of alternative structures, developing the deferral strategy and hands on implementation assistance. She has planned and implemented a large number of global tax efficient supply chain strategies for U.S. based multinationals.
Simran’s clients are primarily technology companies and she has extensive experience in software and internet, semiconductor and solar industries.
Simran is a California CPA as well as a Chartered Accountant from India and graduated from the University of Delhi, India with a B.S. in Business.
