The Ascend LA Metro Chapter

Hunger Fight 2012!

We will volunteer at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank assembling food packages for over 23,000 low income seniors, women with infants, and children in Los Angeles County. The food packages consist of food items like canned fruit, canned vegetables, rice, cereal and other non-perishable food items.
By giving just a little of our time, we can make a big difference in our community.

When: Saturday, February 18, 2012 (8:30 am- 12:00 noon, followed by lunch)

Event starts promptly at 8:30 am

Location: Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, 2825 E. 54th Street, Vernon, CA 90058 (location is just south of downtown)

Event cost: free

Parking: Street parking around the Foodbank

Lunch will be served at the end of the event.

Minimum age requirement to volunteer is 14
