LEAD panel: How Women Lead? Why Men Should Care?

Research has shown that Asians aspire to hold a top job more than their Caucasian counterparts; and Asian women are more ambitious and desire to ascend more than Asian men.  However, women and Asians are significantly under-represented on corporate boards and senior executive teams.   Further, studies have shown that Asians are more likely to defer leadership roles to their Caucasian colleagues when they participate in an ethnic diverse team.  Why?  What gender barriers caused women to hold back?  What cultural stereotypes caused Asians to defer?
This panel will discuss "how women lead?” and "why men should care?”
We will hear from successful Pan-Asian women and men leaders who will share their personal stories: How they overcame cultural/gender stereotypes and structural obstacles to create a competitive career advantage while contributing to the business success.  The panel will offer practical everyday techniques that can be applied in your workplace

Moderator: Anna Mok, National Managing Partner, Deloitte

Panelists:  Patty Fukami, EVP Global Finance Operations, Visa
Kevin McCabe, EVP & Chief Auditor, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage
Hyun Park, SVP and General Counsel, PG&E
Priscilla Tuan, Director of Innovation, Marketing, Clorox
