Your space has been saved, and we will send you an event confirmation one day before the event. Career management requires much experience and skill. Join us for this New Year Resolution: Learn Ways to Manage Your Career panel discussion to learn more about career management and ways that you can think about how to best manage your own career. Gain insight from professionals who can share their knowledge and experience in career management.

The panelists include well-established career coaches, leadership advisors and mentors who have extensive experience in working with entry level through C-suite executives. The Panelists will discuss:

· Essential strategies in managing a successful career
· Skills in advancing your career in today's environment
· Role and importance of mentors in a successful career
· Other advice and tips as you best manage your career

The distinguished panelists are:

Winson Heng,
Moderator, Principal of Deloitte Consulting, LLP, a mentor and coach to many Pan-Asian professionals;
Mitchell Halaby
, Senior Executive Recruiter, a trusted career coach and career counselor who has inspired and motivated numerous people from entry level to C-suite executives; and
Meredith Kimbell,
President of Corporate Adventure, an award-winning coach and advisor to executives and leadership teams.

Bios of Panelists and Moderator

Mitchell Halaby

Mitchell Halaby is a Senior Executive Recruiter with Ajilon Finance. He has over 17 years of search experience, 15 ½ years with Ajilon Finance which encompasses the Enron and Arthur Andersen fallout, the boom and bust, 911 terrorist attacks and two recessions. Mitch is known as an inspiring, empowering, trusted career advisor providing world class career guidance and revolutionary job search strategies. He has a successful track record of making a difference in the lives accounting and financial professionals in Metro DC for over 17 years. Mitch is a recognized employment expert. He has appeared on FOX, ABC News, National Public Radio and quoted in the Washington Post. Mitch received his BS in Accounting, graduating with honors from the University of Massachusetts.

Meredith Kimbell

Meredith Kimbell is an award-winning executive coach and advisor who assists C-suite and emerging leaders to build their performance, impact and influence with their most important stakeholders. She is known for accelerating the growth of leaders from diverse cultural backgrounds and building their success in U.S. business environments. Meredith recently published Rebooting Leadership: Practical Lessons for Frontline Leaders (and their bosses) in the New World, Nov. 2010. She also authors a monthly e-zine, "Leadership Coaching Notes,” and a periodic blog, "Leading with…Energy to Spare™,” that are both available on her website, Meredith is President of Corporate Adventure in Reston VA.

Winson Heng

Winson Heng is a Principal in Deloitte Consulting Federal Government Services Business Unit. He has over 22 years of experience in government services practice. He provides management and technology consulting services to Federal government clients. Winson specializes in organization transformation, strategic planning, e-government, performance management, learning solutions, business process reengineering, strategic sourcing, as well as program and financial management. He has experience working in North America, Asia Pacific, and Middle East and North Africa regions. Winson holds a B.Sc. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an M.B.A. degree in Finance from Oklahoma City University.
