PwC and Ascend Los Angeles Metro Chapter present ‘Stretching Your Comfort Zone’

We hear of professionals looking to virtually completely eliminate risks in their careers perhaps due to the notion that risks may equate to instability.  We would like to explore the concept of taking calculated moves within one’s career, and learn how to stretch one’s comfort zone, which would eventually lead to a higher level of success in one’s career. Whether it’s taking a project outside your normal realm of responsibilities, leading a new team or changing departments or industries, learning to be comfortable with discomfort is the first step to having a fulfilling and purposeful career.  We hope that our distinguished panel of speakers could provide insights to view taking calculated risks as opportunities and necessary to achieve a higher level, trajectory or speed of career advancement.

With risks comes great reward

What you can expect to take away from this session:

·  Ways to take “intelligent” career risks

·  Hear tips on how and when to step out of your comfort zone

·  Learn how to find out about opportunities that may be out there and the opportunities that are not getting offered to you
