Perspectives Business Roundtable event hosted by the Ascend
CT/Westchester chapter on June 4th at UConn Stamford was a big
success. This was the second executive business roundtable since its launch in
2011, and is the marquee event for the Ascend CT/Westchester chapter.
More than 125 professionals and students from 32 firms
and 3 universities attended the roundtable event, sponsored by GE Capital and
PepsiCo. The discussion was followed by a networking reception, which provided a
great networking opportunity for attendees over drinks and savory Asian
appetizers. The panel of senior marketing executives from
Accenture, Diageo, GE, PepsiCo and Yale University shared their
insights on branding, digital marketing and social media. They shared their
perspectives on the rise of digital media, changing consumer habits, the
evolution of branding in a digital age and the value of social media. The chapter is soliciting feedback on the event from
