Ascend NorCal Hiking Event

Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Location: Meet at Sneath Lane Trail Parking lot. Spaces are very limited. Please arrive early. Coordinates: 37.619394, -122.454198
Difficulty: Easy, 5.7 miles out and back with about 600 feet change in elevation, completely exposed.
Description: Out and back hike with wildflowers, and with views of Montara Mountain, the Pacific Ocean, and the San Francisco Watershed, including San Andreas Lake. Also, a historic site, where in 1769, Spanish Explorer Portola stood on the ridge to catch a glimpse of the San Francisco Bay. We will wait 15 minutes max before departing onto the trail.

Trail head: Start at Sneath Lane gate.
What to bring: water, sunblock lotion, sunglasses, hat, comfortable walking shoes, light snacks. For those interested, we will get lunch nearby after the hike.
