you to celebrate the appointment of Dr. Sridhar Ramamoorti to the Standing
Advisory Group (SAG) of the PCAOB for the 2014-2016 term. PCAOB reached out to Ascend last year seeking
qualified candidates and Ascend nominated Dr. Ramamoorti to the position.
As part of the evening program, Dr.
Ramamoorti will offer brief highlights of the topics discussed at the most
recent PCAOB SAG meeting in June 2014." His presentation and overview will
be followed by a panel discussion with Mr. Mo (Mohammad) Azam, Vice President,
Internal Audit & Compliance of UPS and Mr. Randy Addington, SEC Reviewing
Partner of KPMG LLP. The event will be
held from 5:30pm– 8:30pm at UPS World Headquarters with welcoming remarks by
Mr. Kurt Kuehn, CFO of UPS. Following

Jeff is a founder and
inaugural president of Ascend, the premier non- profit organization dedicated to enhancing the presence,
influence and visibility of current and future Pan Asian business leaders.
He is passionate about diversity and the importance of giving back to the
Pan Asian and business community, such that he devotes full time as the
volunteer leader of Ascend. Ascend, started in June 2005, has rapidly grown
to become the largest, premier national non–profit Pan Asian membership
organization for business professionals with over 8000 members and 46
professional and student chapters which includes, the National Association
of Asian MBAs, NAAMBA, which joined the Ascend family in 2013 and is now an
international organization through the establishment of Ascend in Canada.
Dr. Sridhar Ramamoorti
Associate Professor of

Dr. Ramamoorti has a unique,
blended academic-practitioner background with over 30 years of experience
in academia, auditing, and consulting. After earning his Ph.D. in
quantitative psychology from The Ohio State University, Dr. Ramamoorti
served on the University of Illinois’ accountancy faculty. He has been a
principal in the Professional Standards Group of Andersen Worldwide, was
National Sarbanes Oxley Advisor for Ernst & Young LLP, a corporate
governance partner with Grant Thornton LLP, and a principal of Infogix
Advisory Services, Infogix, Inc.
Kurt Kuehn Chief Financial
Kurt Kuehn, UPS's Chief Financial Officer, has been on the front
lines of UPS's transformation from a private U.S.-focused small package
delivery company to one of the world's largest publicly-traded logistics
companies with more than 398,000 employees. Today, he is responsible for
all activities related to accounting, finance, financial planning, taxes
and treasury. He also is the liaison to the investor, finance and analyst
community. Kuehn is a member of the UPS Management Committee, a group of
the company's most senior executives who are responsible for the day-to-day
management of the company. A native of South Bend, Ind., he attended Yale
University and received a master's degree in business administration from
the University of Miami. He also is a graduate of the Advanced Management
Program of the Wharton School of Business.
Mo Azam VP Internal Audit
and Compliance & Ethics, UPS
Mohammad (Mo) Azam is the Vice President of Corporate Internal Audit
and Compliance & Ethics. In his
current role, Mo is responsible for global audit, compliance and ethics
related activities for UPS. As the Chief Audit Executive of UPS, Mo reports
administratively to Teri McClure, the General Counsel and Corporate
Secretary of UPS, and functionally to the Audit Committee of the Board of
Directors. He also oversees the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process
for UPS. Mo received his bachelor’s in Accounting and MBA in Finance from
Golden Gate University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the
State of California, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (AICPA) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors
(IIA). He is also Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP).
Randall R. Addington Partner, KPMG LLP
Randy is an audit partner with KPMG LLP (KPMG). He serves in the
Atlanta office within the Industrial Manufacturing (IM) and Consumer
Markets (CM) practices and is also a member of the Information and
Communication (I&C) industry team. In addition, Randy serves as an SEC
Reviewing partner, an IFRS Reviewing partner, as well as a Financial
Derivatives Resource partner.
He has been with KPMG in the Atlanta office for
over 31 years. His clients have been primarily public companies, both large
and small, as well as several leverage buyout companies operating almost
exclusively in the IM, CM and I&C industries.
