Inspiring Across Generations (IAG)
Reinvent . Rebrand . Reconnect
June 29, 2013, Saturday | 2:30pm - 9:00pm
Pacific Palms Resort
1 Industry Hills Pkwy, City of Industry, CA 91744
Today's global business environment and fast-paced technological advances have changed the way people work, connect with others, and focus on technical skills. We must strategically reinvent and rebrand ourselves to stay relevant and be forward thinking, while reconnecting with our colleagues and those who have an impact on our careers.
Please join the Ascend Los Angeles Metro Chapter for our annual "Inspiring Across Generations" gala event. Join us on Saturday, June 29th, for inspirational thoughts from our keynote speaker, a discussion with a great executive panel, gala dinner, and networking opportunities.
Women of Ascend, Sponsored by Deloitte LLP
This year, we are pleased to offer a pre-IAG dinner session for women, by women, called the "Women of Ascend." The session will feature Pan-Asian female executives who will share their stories, discuss women's issues, and provide helpful perspectives.
Cold Tofu Comedy Improv Workshop
Held in parallel to the "Women of Ascend" session will be an interactive communication skills building workshop hosted by Cold Tofu, the nation’s premier Asian American comedy improv and sketch group. This interactive, hands-on and fun workshop will help you learn how to improve your public speaking skills and enhance your self-confidence via team participation using comedy improv.
Please Join Us!
Whether you attend for only the Women of Ascend session, the dinner program or for the entire 1/2 day, this unique experience will help you reinvent, rebrand and reconnect with others as you focus on building your soft skills to help ascend your career to new heights.
