You are invited to join the Southern California Asian Business Resource Group (ABRG) for an executive panel discussion on career advancement.

Michael Fung

Retired Senior Vice President and CFO Walmart U.S.

Michael started his career in accounting at Deloitte and Touche before joining Walmart and rising to the ranks of Senior Vice President and CFO of Walmart U.S. Michael is a member of the Financial Executives Institute, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Asian Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund.

 

Mino Tran

Senior Vice President — Tax at City National Bank

Mino started his career at Deloitte and Touche as a college hire and was a Tax Senior Manager before joining City National Bank. Mino is an active member of the prestigious Committee of 100, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tax Executives Institute.

 


Matthew Hom

Chief Technologist at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems

Matthew, a former manager at Deloitte Consulting and Senior Principal Consultant at Oracle, is now the Chief Technologist and Solutions Architect for Aerospace Systems sector at Northrop Grumman. Matthew leads long-range strategic planning and "evangelizes” technology to act as a change agent for transformation.

Jonathan Chow

Chief Information Security Officer — Live Nation

 

Jonathan is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s leading live entertainment and eCommerce company, comprised of four market leaders: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, Front Line Management Group and the Live Nation Network. In February 2011, Jonathan was awarded recognition as a 2011 Premier 100 IT Leader for his technology leadership by Computerworld magazine.

 

 

There will be networking opportunities with Deloitte professionals, Deloitte alumni, Ascend LA professionals, and university students from various local colleges before and after the event.
