Networking and relationship building are undoubtedly the most effective means to grow your career, win new clients, get a job, promote your brand, and help someone connect to a new opportunity. Too often we make the mistake of not planning for the opportunities we want to achieve and assume it will "just happen." Networking is a skill that when mastered elevates your career to new heights.
After much success with his 10 K’s of Personal Branding and 10 L’s of Leadership, on Thursday, May 31, 2012, Kaplan Mobray, an acclaimed author, thought leader, career coach, and motivational speaker, will present the "10 N’s of Networking” to help you assess your skills and hone your ability to connect with others as you grow in your career. Come prepared to learn effective networking techniques and to explore new and innovative ways to build relationships with your clients. It is important to take control of your own professional development, and this workshop will provide a forum to learn and discuss what it takes to network for success.
Mobray’s presentations have been described as a life-changing event.
There will be networking opportunities with Deloitte professionals, Deloitte alumni, Ascend LA professionals, and university students from various local colleges and after the workshop.
