Nervous about talking with new people? Don't know what an "elevator speech" is? If so, then come to a Networking Skills event we are co-hosting with Beta Alpha Psi. Sue Oliver from the Entrepreneurship Center and Peter Raven, Director of International Business programs, will be speaking about how to "package" yourself to land that great first impression. Ms. Oliver hears elevator pitches all the time as the Director of the Business Plan Competition held every year on the SU campus. She works with business professionals on a regular basis helping them improve and work towards success. Furthermore, Dr. Raven is a seasoned traveler, with several experiences networking on an international level.

This is a great opportunity to practice your social networking skills, especially if you are nervous about networking with professionals at the upcoming "The Path to Success" event coming up on April 5th (RSVP required by Thurs, March 29. See post below for instructions). We hope to see you there!
