Ascend is pleased to announce that we are making available a special one-day training session to senior managers interested in improving their public communications skills. Organized as an Ascend partnership with Jan Yanehiro, Director of Multimedia Communications at the Academy of Art, the class uses on-camera studio exercises to coach participants to tighten message content and delivery, improve personal dress and appearance, and understand inside tips on handling the media.

Ascend is pleased to announce that we are making available a special one-day training session to senior managers interested in improving their public communications skills. Organized as an Ascend partnership with Jan Yanehiro, Director of Multimedia Communications at the Academy of Art, the class uses on-camera studio exercises to coach participants to tighten message content and delivery, improve personal dress and appearance, and understand inside tips on handling the media.

Jan Yanehiro is a well-known TV celebrity who pioneered the now-popular magazine format as co-host of "Evening Magazine", a nightly program on KPIX-TV CBS. She will teach the course with Dianne Fukami, an award-winning TV news executive and former Assistant News Director at KPIX, and Manny Ramos, winner of 6 Emmys for his on-camera news reporting in the Bay Area. The class will be held in the studios of the School of Multimedia Communications, Academy of Art in San Francisco.

 

Class size is limited to a maximum of 9, with 4 slots already reserved.
