Leveraging Your Personality Type to Create Career Success
Ascend New England presents an insightful event on Wednesday, November 9th!
Based on an in-depth look at the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, this interactive workshop focuses on the impact that personality preferences can have as individuals manage their careers and build effective relationships.
Participants will learn about the 16 personality types and four preference pairs in Myers-Briggs through experiential exercises as well as identify their own preferences through the MBTI assessment.
Materials discussed include the natural strengths and blind spots of each preference in the context of the work environment and how one can effectively manage their career by being aware of and appropriately leveraging their own preferences and the preferences colleagues.

Instructed by Carly Goldsmith who is a career coach and facilitator focused on helping mid-career professionals achieve greater career success, find meaningful work and live fulfilling lives. She brings over 14 years of human resource and business experience, including six years as an internal coach with the professional services and consulting firm Deloitte, to work for her clients. In 2009, she followed her passion and launched her own coaching business. She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Boston University and is certified in various assessment tools such as MBTI, Lominger Leadership Architect, VOICES 360, and Team Diagnostics.
