Come join us for Ascend Seattle's first in a series of events focused on entrepreneurship. Our first featured entrepreneur is Jane Park, CEO and Founder of Julep. Jane owns with four "clean-green” social parlors in the Seattle area. This unique opportunity will be focused on a discussion with Jane in informal setting through an intimate and in-depth conversation. Jane will share her path to entrepreneurial success and lessons learned along the way. There will be light snacks and hors d'oeuvres during the event and the social.
Jane Park Biography:
Jane has been featured in Redbook, Oprah Magazine, and Vogue as a beauty industry expert. Jane has also been recognized as one of 2009's "40 Under 40” by the Puget Sound Business Journal. Prior to launching Julep, Jane Park led the launch of new businesses at Starbucks, including the development and implementation of the digital music strategy and the Starbucks Liqueurs business. Jane was recognized for her leadership as the Starbucks Leader of the Quarter Q1 FY05. Prior to joining Starbucks, Jane was a Manager at The Boston Consulting Group, where she worked on identifying growth opportunities, optimizing supply chains, and building e-commerce strategies for leading retail and consumer products companies. Jane received her AB from Princeton University in 1993, and her JD from Yale Law School in 1996.
