Deloitte Diversity & Inclusion
Corporate responsibility and business ethics: Why
doing the right thing is more important than ever
Friday, November 12
5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Please join us for an in-depth panel discussion about
ethics and social responsibility with Ambassador David Scheffer,
professor of international law and Director of the Center for International
Human Rights at Northwestern University School of Law. As the first United
States Ambassador-at-Large for War Crimes Issues (1997-2001), Ambassador
Scheffer is a sought-after speaker around the world on the topic of human
rights and atrocity crimes litigation.
Our discussion will center
on the role of the leaders of corporations in relation to corporate
responsibility and business ethics. How do you navigate your
organization through different frameworks of liability in our global economy?
What exactly is corporate social responsibility and what role should
leadership play in it?
Seating is limited. Please register
by Wednesday, November 10. There is no cost to attend; however, you must
register in order to access the 15th floor of Deloitte’s building.
