Speaker:
Svend Ryge:

Mr. Svend Ryge is the Vice President Finance and Treasurer of Sutter Health, an $8 billion not-for-profit health care delivery system comprised of 25 hospitals and numerous outpatient care facilities in Northern California. He is responsible for corporate and pension investment management, banking operations and capital financing for the Sutter Health system. 

Mac Shaffer:

Marc Shaffer is an award-winning journalist and independent documentary filmmaker. He has produced two celebrated PBS multi-part series on American health care, the Emmy-nominated Critical Condition with Hedrick Smith and Remaking American Medicine, of which the Journal of American Medicine wrote, "The public is owed programming such as this." Through his films, Shaffer has gone deep inside the opaque world of American health care to expose how it really works, what's really broken, and why it desperately needs to be reformed. His work airs nationwide regularly on PBS and other networks as specials and on programs such as FRONTLINE and the Bill Moyers Journal.

Currently manage sourcing of Generic pharmaceuticals for over 15% of US market - over $6 billion spend. 

Chris Williams:

Principal of Saylor & Hill Employee Benefits Department.
Has more than 17 years of experience in the employee benefits industry.
Chris joined Saylor & Hill in 1993 after working for Travelers Insurance Company as a Sales Director for the Western Region.
