Learn best practices from an experienced ToastMaster on how to impress your clients and team members each time you make a presentation. This session will help to answer the following questions:
  • How can I effectively prepare for a presentation or speech?
  • What can I do to maintain my focus and confidence?
  • What can I do if something unexpected happens during the presentation?
  • How can I make sure that I understand my audience? What should indicators should I look for?

About the Speaker

Speaker: Adrian Reeves, Human Resources Department, US Securities & Exchange Commission

Toastmaster Adrian Reeves has over 10 years experience in the field of public speaking and currently holds the Advance Communicator award licensed by Toastmaster’s International, Inc. He has twice served as a local President for the One Grand Toastmaster’s club located in Washington, DC and has competed and won Toastmasters competitions at the regional level. Adrian has facilitated many workshops in the non-profit and government sectors teaching both youth and adults effective communication skills. He has presented communication workshops for such organizations as Child & Family Services, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and Bible Way Churches World-Wide; he continues to accept invitations to serve as a motivational speaker to students within the Metropolitan area.
