Allen S. Thomas, Jr., CPA, is a Partner in the New York office of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. In his role as the National Managing Partner – Partner Matters, he oversees many of the internal matters relating to the 4,300 partners, principals and directors of the Deloitte U.S. Firms such as development, deployment, goal setting, career planning, compensation and benefits. He was co-LCSP for Fannie Mae during the first 6 months of our tenure as auditor as we built a team. Previously, he was the Central Atlantic Managing Partner located in our Tysons Corner, Virginia office overseeing all of our services in the Central Atlantic Region. Prior to these roles he was the National Industry Director of the organization’s Securitization Services Group (the “SSG”) which, at the time, was comprised of approximately 90 client service professionals, primarily located in the New York office. Allen has 25 years of public accounting experience, primarily within the financial services industry. For a 15 year period, he worked with collateralized mortgage obligations, asset-backed securities, and other innovative financing techniques. He has supervised our computer-driven analyses of more than 3,000 public offerings, involving more than $2 trillion in assets.
